I gave my wife her own Hermes agent and set the default model to DeepSeek V4 Flash, one of the cheapest models you can run. She came back with a series of things she had built, some of which I did not know that model was capable of.

Ten times the price does not bring ten times the value. For the same reason, ten times less the price does not mean ten times less quality. She built things I did not think the cheap model could build, and the cheap model was the right call.
